Qualifications
  • Applicants must possess SSCE/GCE (O/L) or its equivalent with at least five (5) credits in the relevant subjects including English and Mathematics plus recognized basic Medical/Dental qualification, fully registered with the MDCN.
  • Applicants must be Principal Medical Officer  who have additional qualification(s), preferably a Master’s Degree in relevant medical field or Applicants possessing the Fellowship of Nigeria Postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent plus at least sixteen (16) years post-qualification experience;
  • Applicants should be of good health, sound judgment, pleasant disposition and unassailable integrity; and
  • Applicants must not be older than sixty (60) years.
Tenure and Condition of Service
  • Directorship of Non-Academic Units shall be for the period of four (4) years in the first instance and may be renewed for another four (4) years only.
