Job Title: Healthcare Administrator

Job Summary
  • The healthcare administrator would be the oversight manager of the project in the Medical Centre. He will manage the daily operations of the centre to ensure best practices in line with company policy.
  • Ultimately, he will be responsible for making sure our hospital operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre
  • Ensure high level of patient satisfaction
  • Ensure waiting time is at the barest minimum
  • Monitor the collection of revenue
  • Ensure all equipment work optimally
  • Effective engagement with all hospital stakeholder
  • Supervise daily administrative operations
  • Monitor expenses and suggest cost-effective alternatives
  • Create quarterly and annual budgets
  • Develop and implement effective policies for all operational procedures
  • Prepare work schedules
  • Maintain organized medical and employee records
  • Monitor administrative staff’s performance
  • Ensure prompt ordering and stocking of medical and office supplies
  • Answer queries from doctors, nurses and healthcare staff
  • Resolve potential issues with patients
  • Stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a medical office manager
  • Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles
  • Ability to handle medical records discreetly
  • Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
  • Communication skills and a customer service orientation
Qualifications
  • B.Sc Degree in Health Administration, MBBS
  • Minimum of 5 years in Health Administration
