House Officer: 
Location: Warri, Delta 

Job Summary
  • This role is responsible for providing competent patient-centered care that addresses health needs and promotes wellness. Such care shall be based on latest medical evidence and guidelines
 Key Result Areas (KRA)
The key result areas of this role are:
  • Clinical Care
  • Resume for work on or before 8am and close not earlier than 5pm provided he has completed all pending duties and has properly handed over the outstanding duties to his colleague on call.
  • Be in attendance at ALL Clinical Meetings: 7:45am on Mondays and 7:30am on Fridays
  • Do a ward round every day of the week. The House Officer must be available for the Registrar/Senior Registrar and Consultant ward rounds and being on the previous call duty would not be taken as an excuse for his/her absence.
  • Prepare presentation of each case before Medical Officer / Registrar, Senior Registrar and Consultant ward round.
  • Must liaise with the Medical Officer / Registrar / Senior Registrar at all times on any issue concerning the management of the patient.
  • See that the instruction given by the Medical Officer or Registrar/Senior Registrar during ward rounds are promptly carried out. This is means that the House-Officer must come back after the round to make sure that things are done appropriately and report to the Medical Officer or Registrar/Senior Registrar where such could not be done.
The Person
  • The job holder must have a current provisional license to practice medicine from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
  • Knowledge of the basics in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Surgery.
  • The job holder must have good stamina and empathy for patients.
  • The job holder must have good communication skills, a strong ability to work well under extreme pressure and self discipline.
  • Job holder must portray a caring and professional manner in all aspects of work.
Medical Laboratory Scientist (Chemical Pathologist)

Job Summary
  • The role is responsible for the use of  a wide range of analytical techniques for example, measurement of enzyme activities, spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, the separation of molecules based on physical characteristics and immunoassays to determine the concentration of chemical constituents in a patient blood, urine and other bodily fluids.
  • The work involves both manual techniques for which the biomedical scientist develops complex practical and interpretive skills and the operation and management of highly automated testing systems.
 Key Result Areas (KRA)
The key result areas of this role are:
  • Clinical Care
  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests to produce and interpret results in order to assist clinicians in their diagnosis and treatment of disease.
  • Responsible for receiving, storing and preparing various kinds of specimen including blood sample for analysis.
  • Calibrating and Maintaining standard laboratory equipment, for example spectrophotometers, immune-analyzers, centrifuges, titrators, pipetting machines and pH meters.
  • Provides test results for patient diagnosis and treatment by operating sophisticated clinical chemistry equipment and occasional manual chemistries.
  • Identifying the presence or quantity of drugs of abuse, therapeutic drugs, and toxic substances by operating toxicology instrumentation and performing manual methods for the performance of drug screens, blood alcohol levels, and carbon monoxide levels.
  • Analyse blood samples using computer-aided and manual techniques.
  • Performing clinical validation: checking abnormal results identified by automated analyzers and deciding if further tests are necessary.
  • Implement quality control procedures both internal and external to maintain accurate results.
The Person
  • Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) (Chemical Pathology option).
  • 1 to 3 years relevant work experience in the health sector.
  • Membership with a relevant professional body and must be licensed to practice under the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
  • Good hand and eye coordination and the ability to use technical equipment with accuracy.
  • The ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment.
  • Time management skills in order to work on several different projects at the same time.

Health Information Management Technician
Location: Warri, Delta
Job Category: Junior- level

Job Summary
  • To build strong health information centre that will ensure prompt service to patient.
  • To ensure complete and accurate documentation of all patient records and to protect the confidentiality of patient health records.
Key Result Areas (KRA)
The key result areas of this role are:
  • Clinical Care
  • Send admission notification to companies
  • Get authorization from companies for specialized investigations and surgeries
  • Prepare medical report for client
  • File Retrieval - Antenatal Clinic
  • Patient’s reminderappointment
  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Document scanning and archiving
  • Adherence to clinical governance
The Person
  • Minimum academic qualification of an OND in Health Information Management/Biostatics and a Practicing License. 
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience in the health sector.
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities in compliance with Lily hospitals' health and safety policy and statutory regulations.
  • Ensure a clean, comfortable and safe environment for patients, clients and members of staff to help reduce infection.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
  • Outstanding communication (oral and written), interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Possess high degree of accuracy and attention to details.

  • Salary in line with industry standard.
