Job Title: Radiochemist

Location: Oshodi, Lagos

Responsibilities

Aseptic compounding, using non-radioactive kit formulations and manufacturing of cyclotron based PET radiopharmaceuticals (e.g. 18FDG)for both in-house clinical use and outdoor commercial PET centre requirements under SOPs &cGMP guidelines of NNRA & IAEA.

Establishing and reviewing policies and protocols related to the preparation, use, and disposal of radioactive chemicals and maintains appropriate documentation associated with it.

Maintain the qualification and calibration of automated and semi-automated radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and QC equipment.

Regular revalidation of production processes.

Prepare analytical reports for outdoor radiopharmaceutical exports.

Packaging of radiopharmaceutical according to the ordinance on transportation of radioactive materials.

Handling, packaging, labelling and storing radioactive drugs and hazardous materials in compliance with radiation safety practices.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess a Master's Degree

1 - 2 years relevant work experience.
